Panevezys Former Air Base Urban Game

Transformation of a former air base in the middle of the city of Panevezys (Lithuania) was the subject of this simulation. We used the build-play-collaborate method, a stakeholder engagement approach in which the representatives of Panevezys municipality, businesses and civic organisations built a physical 3D model of the possible future programme for the now abandoned air base compound. The decisions were made through negotiation and co-design.  

The workshop was part of the ongoing "Transformation from Slum to Chic" INTERREG Latvia  - Lietuva 2014 / 2020 Programme
